Counterfeit statement

Counterfeiting is a serious problem and a growing concern for the global market and especially for the electronic components industry. While the appearance and packaging can be convincing, the products themselves are often sub-standard and may present severe safety hazards that can cause accidents and ultimately cost lives. Counterfeit electrical products do not comply with performance and safety specifications; they are not tested nor approved.

LEMO is committed to taking appropriate actions to combat the adverse impacts caused by counterfeit goods.  Key elements in tackling product counterfeiting include protecting our assets legally and technologically. Stricter testing and quality-control protocols as well as improved communication throughout the supply chain.
