Designed for high voltage applications, Y series single contact, self-latching, connectors have a test voltage from 5 to 50 kV DC and offer thus an extremely favourable size/voltage ratio. The Push-Pull latching system enables rapid, safe and reliable connection/disconnection and a version with a microswitch is available to prevent power from being turned on before the plug is mated. Various sizes, watertight and vacuum-tight models are available. Suitable for applications in the nuclear research, automative, test and measurement, defence and aerospace sectors.
