The REDEL MP Series goes beyond traditional connectors with a new modular insert concept modules to combine power, signal, data, fibre and fluidic in a single hybrid connector. The REDEL MP Series introduces high-contact density modules, an innovation that allows 144 contacts in a compact connector by using edge cards concept. The PCB module can be customized with the integration of intelligence, such as an EPROM. The clip- in assembly modules of the REDEL MP allow for a quick and easy assembly with minimum tooling. Its expandable design ensures to stay ahead in an ever-evolving technological landscape. And full cable assembly options are also available.

VoidSense uses a linear sensor which is clamped to the body of the device, and this connects to the device via a short length of screened cable and a connector, which was initially an M12-type industrial connector, but these were fiddly, difficult to confirm a positive connection and potentially open to manufacturing issues with screw terminal connections.
