Skyward Experimental Rocketry is a team of students from the Polytechnic University of Milan that designs and launches sounding rockets. The team was founded in 2012 and consists of students from various academic courses.

In 2021, the team successfully rebranded itself and launched its latest project, Lynx, during the European Rocketry Challenge (EuRoC). Skyward participated in the 2022 EuRoC with its new rocket, Pyxis.

Skyward's ongoing project, Chimæra, is the first hybrid rocket engine built by the team for flying on a student-developed sounding rocket. Chimæra will participate in the 2023 EuRoC competition and push Skyward’s rocket to 3000m apogee. It uses a hybrid propellant of nitrous oxide as a bi-phasic oxidant and 3D printed ABS for the solid fuel grain.
