BCN eMotorsport

BCN eMotorsport is a team of undergraduate engineers from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC Barcelona) who aim to design, build, and test two cars to compete in two categories of Formula Student.

ETSEIB Motorsport was established in 2007 and has produced four cars with continuous upgrades, including the first electric car for Formula Student in Spain in 2011. The team has taken on major challenges, such as implementing 4WD and developing the first autonomous car for Formula Student in Spain in 2018, following the trends in the automotive industry and utilizing cutting-edge technology.

Formula Student is a highly regarded engineering competition worldwide. Engineering students from different countries design and build a Formula-style car to compete in various events. Currently, the competition comprises two categories: FS Combustion and FS Electric, and both categories include an option for autonomous mode.
