At the heart of the D Series is a patented new Push-Pull latching mechanism, designed for effortless use and reliable connectivity—even in blind-mate conditions. For rapid disconnection under stress, a break-away latching option is available.

Tested to MIL-STD-810H, the D Series withstands harsh environments, extreme vibration, and physical impact. Its low-profile, non-reflective, corrosion-resistant finish makes it ideal for stealth applications and dense system integration.

LEMO’s modular connector architecture allows the OPTIMA D Series to integrate multipole, coaxial, and high-speed data configurations within a single family. Available in five sizes (DD to 3D) and three socket models, it simplifies system-level integration, accelerating development and deployment. Key configurations include USB 2.0-compatible Nett Warrior /STANAG4695, optimised for soldier-worn electronics; USB 3.2, delivering up to 10 Gbps with a patented contact design for next-generation data transmission; coaxial connections up to 6 GHz, fully sealed to IP68 whether mated or unmated; and Single Pair Ethernet (SPE), compliant with 10GBASE-T1 to provide high-speed connectivity over lightweight cables.
