Environmental considerations play an increasing role in driving business activities. LEMO complies with all the ISO 14001 standards, the main European laws and regulations such as RoHS and REACh as well as the highest specific customer requirements.
ISO 14’001 Certification
The certificate according to ISO 14001 proves the commitment of LEMO in an approach of sustainable development. Our main objective is to limit the impacts of our activities on the environment by polluting less and by consuming better. To reach this objective LEMO performs a regular analysis of its environmental impacts and takes initiatives to reduce the most significant.
LEMO certifies that its connectors and accessories marketed, manufactured, and shipped after January 1, 2006 are in full compliance with the requirements of the Directive 2002/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council dated 27th January 2003 and its recast, the Directive 2011/65/UE of 8 June 2011.
REACH concerns all industrial sectors as well as all the participants in the supply chain. As far as REACH regulation is concerned, LEMO is a producer of items made from finished products.
In cooperation with our suppliers and according to our supply channels, we are kept informed about their procedures of pre-registration and we guarantee the safety of utilisation of the items that we supply to you. The European Chemical Agency (ECHA) has published a List of Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) on its webpage. We declare that LEMO products do not contain any substance of Very High Concern (SVHC).
